Our Team
CEO
Jules Kortenhorst is a globally recognized leader on energy issues and climate change. He is co-chair of the Energy Transitions Commission, a global coalition of leaders from across the energy landscape committed to achieving net-zero emissions by mid-century in line with the Paris Agreement. He is also the CEO of Bridge Carbon, a carbon market development company. Until 2023, he served for a decade as the CEO of RMI, (formerly known as Rocky Mountain Institute), a global non-profit organization focused on accelerating the energy transition. Prior to joining RMI in 2013, Jules was the founding CEO of the European Climate Foundation, the largest philanthropic organization dedicated to climate change in Europe.
Earlier in his career, Jules served in the Dutch Parliament, was the CEO for International Operations of ClientLogic Corporation, and worked for nearly ten years in various roles at Royal Dutch/Shell, including as managing director of Shell Bulgaria. He began his career at McKinsey & Co. He currently serves on the Boards of Enstall Group BV, of LongPath Technologies, and of the Circle Economy. Jules earned a master’s in economics from Erasmus University in the Netherlands and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Chief Legal Officer
Prior to joining Bridge Carbon as Chief Legal Counsel, Jolie spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs, including 10 years as a Managing Director and Head of the Global Commodities legal team.
Jolie has covered a wide variety of legal matters relating to global commodity markets, including financial derivatives; sustainability; compliance and regulatory matters; energy and commodity finance; and commodity offtake transactions.
At Bridge Carbon, Jolie is responsible for the firm’s legal, compliance, corporate governance, and ESG functions. She brings a commanding blend of expertise in managing legal and regulatory matters, shaping how the firm navigates regulatory complexity across global carbon markets.
Global Chief Operations Officer
Audrey brings over 25 years of experience leading large teams and projects focused on supply chain, operations and innovation.
Audrey has extensive expertise, predominantly from her tenure with consumer goods companies, including Unilever, Carlsberg and Danone.
Most recently, Audrey managed Unilever’s supply chain and operations across Asia.
Her career has been marked by transformative leadership in regional and global capacities, focusing on operations strategy, corporate development, business transformation, manufacturing deployment, and organisational enhancement.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Bridge Carbon as Group Chief Accountant, John spent two decades with TotalEnergies, in what became the Gas, Power and Renewables Division, overseeing the teams tasked with the accounting, control and reporting of the company’s energy trading portfolio under full marked-to-market.
This entailed leading the continuous development of trading and accounting systems, analytics, methodologies, and controls, increasing automation and driving the efficiencies and productivity needed to safeguard execution and growth of financial operations within a fast-changing and highly regulated Trading business.
Chief Commercial Officer
Minh is the Chief Commercial Officer for Bridge Carbon, responsible for developing business opportunities, managing commercial activities, and growing our market ecosystem.
He brings extensive experience navigating market uncertainties, managing risks and capturing commercial opportunities across energy markets with leading players such as Puma Energy, Schlumberger and Wood Mackenzie.
In his previous consultancy roles, Minh has worked with a diversified range of cross-sectorial clients to help them extract growth and create business value as they undertake their energy transition journey.
Head of Africa and Global NBS
Regional Director, East Africa
Based in Kenya, Peris is responsible for leading the cookstove champion program on the ground. Prior to taking this role at Bridge Carbon, Peris worked for over three years at CQC as Kenya country manager.
She has previous logistics and carbon compliance experience also in Kenya at Impact Water, an organization whose goal is to sustain safe drinking water systems in 19,000+ schools and to explore partnership opportunities to provide safe drinking water systems to more schools in Kenya primarily through government partnerships.
Chief Information Officer
Geoff leads the IT department for Bridge Carbon managing the IT strategy and implementation across enterprise applications, operations and security, and data and analytics.
With over a decade in data analytics, applications, and infrastructure, Geoff has experience as a data scientist, engineer, and manager of cross-functional technology teams in both research and mission-critical industries.
Prior to joining Bridge Carbon, he led a team on the US Department of Defense’s ADVANA platform, a real-time analytics and tracking system for DoD leadership.
